As you can see from the drop down menu under this heading, I have been involved with quite different styles of music. Even so they all fall under the loose term ‘Rock and Roll’ but it’s quite a different experience being a cog in the machinery of these different genres and their different ideas, personalities, likes and dislikes, aspirations, ambitions and personal tastes. Being the only guitarist, being one of two guitarists, being the singer, playing bass, writing the lyrics, writing the music. Musically – finding moods, energy, melodicism, riffs, meaningful solos, intricate arpeggios, beautiful tones, widescreen soundscapes, effects, simplicity, technical skill and most of all feel and passion.
As you browse through my musical history I hope you can find something that speaks to you, whether it be the steady atmosphere of one project or the eclecticism of another.
