Today is a day to remember my friend and Atlantaeum Flood bandmate Steve Knott who died suddenly one year ago, on May 15th 2021. If you haven’t heard the record ‘One Day’ we made together with Steve, his wife Lynne, me, Olivia and Dare, please make today the day you seek it out and listen to this lovely instrumental work. We had planned to make another album, One Year, but the pandemic came and scuttled our plans and then we lost Steve and that was the end of the band. Steve was a wonderfully generous and smart man, trained as a geologist, we both grew up on The Wirral just a few miles from Liverpool and carried that northern sense of humour with us wherever we went together. Fast friends from the beginning, it was an honour to be asked to play on the record and be considered part of the band. Steve sadly left his wife Lynne and faithful friends behind, a tragic loss for everyone. Lynne, like all of us, has nothing but fond memories of him and his positive contribution to the planet. We love you, Steve, and miss you greatly, wherever you are.
Missing
This is my stolen 1965 Rickenbacker 12-string, serial number EB157. If there's any chance of this guitar coming back to me before I go to meet my maker, then that would be wonderful. Please contact me if you have any information.
